Kate Gilbert met Daniel Beaudet while they were both teaching classes at Éffiloché Sewing Room and Knitting Lounge in Montreal. Daniel the sewer liked the work of Kate the knitter, so Kate invited Daniel to a trade: one of his dresses for a one of her sweaters. A few months after their initial conversation, Kate and Daniel met to exchange their work and to reflect on their process.
