For our first Spring issue, we were looking for engaging new perspectives for the knitter's head, heart, and hands. We welcome the first contributions of several designers to Twist Collective, with their fresh takes on patterns for babies, men, and everyone's favorite portable project, socks. We venture to New Mexico for our Big Sky lace story, and collect some sweet ideas for knitting-to-go in Tidbits. Barbara Parry joins us for the first installment of a year long series about her life as a "yarn farmer", and Kate Davies reminds us of the debt we owe to a modern knitting pioneer, Jane Gaugain. We add beads and wire to the mix. Yarn choices from Clara and advice from Problem Ladies Kay and Ann help us to keep it real, and notebook contributor Lynne Vogel makes us hungry for color.
We know you will find occupation for your needles here, and thank you again for your support of Twist Collective with your pattern purchases. Click to knit!
