My first thought was of a white pantsuit striped with rainbow colors I had when I was about ten, which I loved - but earned me the unfortunate moniker "Rainbow Brite" (sic). It then occurred to me that the one outfit I have ever worn that was completely awesome was a Borg costume I made for Halloween about ten years ago. I sewed a PVC full bodysuit, attached wires and tubing - it even had a fully functional flashing LED light panel. I had a voice modifier, bald cap, and a red LED box spirit-gummed to my skull. It was the anti-Rainbow Brite.
