Fiona Ellis

I don't remember the first outfit that made me feel my best, as I have been making my clothes since I was very young. I loved to experiment with materials and silhouettes. The revelation of discovering that by knitting I could have control over both the patterning on the fabric and the shape changed my way of seeing clothing design. My dolls were also subjected to my early designs and were maybe the best dressed in the neighborhood, even though some of them were doomed to be fashion victims or ridiculed in the playroom by the other toys for their daring outfits.
