Lynne Vogel

I was probably 7. Mom and I were shopping and I got to pick out a dress. Cinderella sleeves, wide sash tied in back with a bow, full gathered just above the knee length skirt in milk chocolate cotton with a tiny multi-colored archery target print. It was like a small floral calico, but they were targets on legs instead of flowers. I wore that soft cotton dress out before I outgrew it. To this day I am totally soothed by that shade of brown.
