It didn't take more than a millisecond for my evergreen fleece, asymmetrical snap-up OMO Norma Kamali blouse to come to mind. Those super huge shoulder pads were a godsend--a revelation. Too bad the nuns who patrolled the halls of my high school for dress code violators didn't think so when I tried wearing them in my uniform sweater (yes, on the shoulders). The shirt is gone and so are the shoulder pads, but I think the straighter back and a linebacker's attitude to fashion have stayed with me.
