Sunday Holm

I haven’t had much of an opportunity to travel lately, but when I do, I tend not to bring many things back with me. Souvenirs are no substitute for the memories that you gather while on vacation. I saw a man at the Uffizi Gallery who filmed his entire visit. If you never put the camera down, you miss the real experience. So, my favorite things brought home from travel are memories of watching my son swim in the Atlantic in Miami, hundreds of frogs covering a roadway in Key West, seeing the green grass of Yankee Stadium for the first time, and accidentally ordering fish ice cream in my bad Italian in Rome.
