Working for a very busy tourist railroad, I put in 12-plus hour days in the summer. The only books I pick up during those five months are ones that I’ve already read—my mind is so fried at the end of the day that it can’t comprehend any new information. The Mists of Avalon is always on my list. It transports me to a place of calm every time.
