Each issue of Twist is a labor of love. It’s also incredibly time-consuming. And therein lies the irony of running a knitting magazine. Making a magazine happen leaves precious little time to knit. But this season, I made a special point of carving out extra time to create two sweaters. And in doing so I remembered just how much I love the simple act of working with yarn and needles. There’s something both meditative and soul satisfying watching a fabric form under your hands, knowing the end result will be something beautiful and wearable. Whether it’s an article, a technique, or one of the many designs, I hope there’s something in this edition that will reignite or expand your love for the fiber arts in the cooler months to come.
