This shawl was inspired by hand woven lace shawls from Mexico, fairy tales, and the art knitting of Mary Walker Phillips.

Finished measurements:
Width: 19 ½” / 49.5 cm
Length: 75” / 190.5 cm

Yarn: 1 skein Blue Moon Fiber Arts Laci (1750 yds / 1600 m per 8 oz / 226 g skein; 100% Extra Fine 80's Merino) in 24 Karat

Needles & Notions: Size 5 US / 3.75 mm circular needle, 24” / 60 cm long
Size 4 US / 3.5 mm circular needle, 24” / 60 cm long
Spare needle to hold sts while grafting, tapestry needle, T-pins for blocking, waste yarn

Gauge: 19 sts and 33 rows = 4” / 10 cm in St st using larger needles, after blocking
22 sts and 32 rows = 4” / 10 cm in Leaf Lace pattern using larger needles, after blocking

Construction Notes: Shawl is worked in two panels, from the ends in towards the center, and grafted together at the center back. A lace edging is attached to the provisional cast on stitches at each end.
