Construction Notes: The hat and mittens are worked in the round on double pointed and circular needles. Both pieces begin with i-cord, which is grafted into a ring. Stitches are picked up along the side of the cord to work the sides of the hat and the cuff of the mittens. The snowflake patterns are presented in both charts and row-by-row instructions. The flat crown shaping of the hat is integrated into the snowflake pattern.
