Construction Notes: The rectangular stole begins with a provisional cast-on at the center and is worked out to one end. Stitches are recovered from the cast on and worked out to the other end. The crescent shawlette begins at the neck edge. Short rows provide the crescent shape, and the wide lace border is further shaped by changing needle size. These lace patterns are presented in chart form only. |
