Needles & Notions: Size 4 US / 3.5 mm double-pointed needles Size 6 US / 4 mm double-pointed needles Size 6 US / 4 mm circular needles, 16" / 40 cm, 24" / 60 cm, and 32" /80 cm long
Size G US / 4 mm crochet hook, five stitch markers (four for raglan, one for end of round), four removable stitch markers, six buttons, 7/8" / 22 mm diameter, sewing needle and coordinating thread
Gauge: 21 sts and 27 rows = 4" / 10 cm in Stockinette stitch worked in the round with alternating stripes (1 round MC, 1 round CC) using larger needles 21 sts and 32 rows = 4" / 10 cm in 1x1 ribbing pattern (a little stretched) using smaller needles
Construction Notes: The cardigan is worked in the round from the top down then steeked along the center front and stitches are picked up to work the button band. A crocheted steek is used to maintain a clean and neat inner edge (though you can use any steeking method you prefer). |
