Twist Style Friday: Zigreta

Every Friday we feature one of the garments from the magazine in a post about styling. We suggest different ways to wear the garment in question using mock-ups from Polyvore. We encourage readers to tell us what they think about these outfits via our Facebook page or Twitter, and if folks want to make their own outfits, please tweet them at us with the hashtag #twiststyle. You can find all of the Style Friday posts here.

Hi Twisters.

What a week it's been! We're celebrating our fifth anniversary, giving away great swag, having amazing conversations with readers on social media, and our Fall issue just dropped. I'm not the guy who made it, so I don't feel remotely conceited telling you that I am SO PSYCHED about this issue. I went on a queueing spree. I've already chosen my first project, which I will write about for y'all if I ever finish it (if i ever finish *anything*).

Fall is the best. It's my favorite season. I love everything about it. You will get bored of hearing (or reading) me say that until winter arrives. I'm heading to a camp for the weekend, and I am bringing a bathing suit and a toque, and I couldn't be happier about it. I may even wear them at the same time.

When I saw the clothes in the new issue, wanted to immediately style everything. I may have, in fact, played paper dolls with several of them over the last few days. I had to choose one to start off the styling season with. So I picked one of my faves. Oh, hello Zigreta.

This is one of those garments that is thoughtfully designed from all angles. The back is just as pretty as the front. That neckline is so pretty. Someone on twitter was talking about making one as a cardigan, skeeking it right down the middle. A serious cardigan girl myself, I love this idea.

You know me, I like silly clothes and flashy things, but I think this sweater, particularly in a bright color, should really be the star of your outfit's show. I paired it with shades of grey and simple shoes.

How will you wear Zigreta?
