Two Week Sweater Challenge: Results

Well, the two week sweater challenge has come and gone, the dust has cleared, and knitters looking around will notice that there are quite a few more sweaters in the world than there were a fortnight ago.  Kate, instigator for us all, managed to whip up her blue something (to be revealed in the Fall issue of Twist Collective) with little time to spare before she packed it up and shipped it off to the photo shoot.

As for my own Primrose Path, I managed the two sleeves I had promised myself, but didn’t get quite as far as the cast-on for the body.  However, I set to that task this morning, and am looking forward to the fun of continuing.

On Ravelry, there is a thread that developed around the challenge, with loads of progress photos and finished objects, each of them more inspiring than the last.  Take a peek for a sense of what knitters can manage even at this busy time of year. The first photo of a finished sweater shows up at post #115, but there are photos throughout of emerging knits.

Now that everyone is exhausted, we can all kick back and look forward to the Tour de Fleece, and see what the spinners among us can manage.  Go Shack!
