Construction Notes:  Hat and mitten set worked in Fair Isle-style stranded colorwork. All pieces have crocheted edging and duplicate stitch embroidery. The hat begins with the earflaps and is worked to the top, with braided ties and a pom-pom applied at the end. The mittens are worked from cuff to tip.
