• circular needle, 32" / 80 cm long

• needle(s) in preferred style for knitting small circumferences in the round

Five 5/8" / 1.5 mm buttons, cable needle (optional), stitch markers, stitch holders or waste scrap yarn, tapestry needle

Gauge:
26 sts and 34 rows= 4" / 10 cm in Little Birds pattern on larger needles
24 sts and 33 rows = 4" / 10 cm in Stockinette stitch on larger needles

Construction Notes:  Button-front, V-neck cardigan worked in one piece from the bottom up with waist shaping. Sleeves are joined at the armholes and sleeve caps are shaped at the same time as the upper body. Pockets are inset in the fronts. Front and neckband is worked from stitches picked up around the edge.
