These mittens are worked in the round from the cuff to the tip using the stranded colorwork technique. The thumbs are gusseted for a good fit. The color pattern is given in chart form only.

Size 1 US / 2.25 mm and Size 1 ½ US / 2.5 mm needles in preferred style for small circumference knitting in the round

For size 7 ¾" / 19.5 cm:
Size 1 US / 2.25 mm and Size 2 US / 2.75 mm needles in preferred style for small circumference knitting in the round

For size 8 ¼" / 21 cm:
Size 1 ½ US / 2.5 mm and Size 2 ½ US / 3 mm needles in preferred style for small circumference knitting in the round

Stitch marker, waste yarn, tapestry needle

Gauge:
For size 7 ½" / 19 cm:
33 sts and 39 rnds = 4" / 10 cm in Stockinette stitch over Chart using Size 1 ½ US / 2.5 mm needles

For size 7 ¾" / 19.5 cm:
32 sts and 37 rnds = 4" / 10 cm in Stockinette stitch over Chart using Size 2 US / 2.75 mm needles

For size 8 ¼" / 21 cm:
30 sts and 35 rnds = 4" / 10 cm in Stockinette stitch over Chart using Size 2 ½ US / 3 mm needles
