The mittens are worked in the round from cuff to tip in the stranded colorwork technique. The pattern is carried over the gusseted thumbs of the mittens. The size of the mittens is determined by gauge, and is altered by changing needle size. That hat is worked in the round from the bottom up. The body of the hat is worked in the stranded colorwork technique; the crown is worked in a solid color. The color patterns are presented in chart form only.
