The scarf is worked first from end to end, then bound off. Stitches for the hood are picked up on either side of the center of one long edge and worked in one piece to the top of the hood. Stitches are bound off on each side of the hood, and the remaining center stitches are worked until the center length matches the width of the side bind-offs, and then the pieces sewn together. The edging is picked up and worked in sections, with each section being finished before moving on to the next. The cable patterns are presented in chart form only.
