This shawl is worked from the top down. All increases, decreases and cables are worked on right-side rows. Wrong-side rows are worked as the stitches appear. Beads are placed as the piece is knit, using a small steel crochet hook. After completing a final wrong-side row, the piece is bound off using a crochet beaded bind-off. If preferred, a knit picot bind-off may be used instead. The lace patterns are presented in chart form only.
