The mittens are worked flat from the bottom up and seamed along the outer edge of the hand. The thumbs are worked in the round. They use slip-stitch mosaic colorwork technique. The pattern is carried over the gusseted thumbs of the mittens. The size of the mittens is determined by gauge, and is altered by changing needle size. The color patterns are presented in chart form only.
