Gauge:
17 sts and 28 rows = 4" / 10 cm in garter stitch

Construction Notes: Circular shawl which begins with the center circle knit in garter stitch with short rows. Stitches are picked up along the edge of the central circle for the wide lace border which is worked in the round. The edging is worked perpendicularly to the body of the shawl. The lace pattern is presented in both Chart and row-by-row instructions.
