Needles & Notions:
Size 5 US / 3.75 mm circular needle, 32" / 80 cm long
Size 5 US / 3.75 mm set of two double-pointed needles for i-cord (optional)
Stitch markers, one button 1 1/8" / 28 mm diameter, one button 3 /8" / 10 mm diameter, tapestry needle, 4-latch knitting mill for making i-cord (optional)

Gauge:
23 sts and 29 rows = 4" / 10 cm over Stockinette stitch
23 sts and 35 rows = 4" / 10 cm over Lace pattern

Construction Notes: This cardigan features overlapping front panels in an undulating ribbed lace pattern. The body is knit in one piece from the bottom up with waist shaping. The set-in sleeves are knit separately and sewn in place. The front panels are worked from stitches picked up along the edge of the body. Welted edgings and a long i-cord belt finish the piece. The pattern for the front panels in given in chart form only.
