Needles & Notions: Size 5 US / 3.75 mm circular needle, 24” / 60 cm long. Size 3 US / 3.25 mm circular needle, 24” / 60 cm long. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge. 10 stitch markers to indicate decreases, 1 stitch marker (may be different) to indicate end of round, tapestry needle.

Gauge: 23 sts and 40 rows = 4” / 10 cm in Chart 1 pattern, after blocking, using larger needle. Two full repeats (48 rows) of Chart 1 = 4¾” / 12 cm. 24 sts and 32 rows = 4” / 10 cm in Stockinette stitch using larger needle. To save time and to ensure accurate sizing, check gauge.

Construction Notes: Mosaic slip stitch pattern given in charts only. Front and back are worked separately. The wide neckband is worked from picked up stitches.
