Construction Notes: The cardigan is knit in the round from the bottom up, beginning with an I-Cord Cast On and continuing with additional stitches cast on for the steek at the center front. The sleeves are knit in the round to the underarm and joined with the body for the colorwork yoke, which is worked in the round from a chart. Once the body is complete, the front steek is secured and cut open, and the buttonbands picked up from the front edges. |
