Construction Notes: The cardigan is worked in one piece from the bottom up. The body begins with the drop stitch lace pattern, which is presented in charts only. Garter stitch button bands are worked along with the body. The body is worked to the armholes, then set aside while the sleeves are worked, with the drop stitch lace pattern at the cuffs. The pieces are joined, then the yoke is worked. A short raglan section leads to more drop stitch lace, with yoke shaping integrated into the charted lace pattern. A garter stitch neckband finishes the piece. |
