This V-neck cardigan has three-quarter length set-in sleeves and fronts that are slightly longer than the back. Lace panels border both front edges and are repeated on the upper back. An optional ribbed collar adds a delicate touch.

Construction Notes: This sweater is worked in pieces and sewn together, with k2, p2 ribbing on all edges. The lace pattern which borders the front edges and reappears at the upper back is presented in chart form only. The narrow front bands are worked in k2, p2 ribbing from stitches picked up along the edge. The optional collar is knit separately and sewn in place at the inside of the neck edge. The sweater is closed with a single hook and eye. |
