• circular needle, at least 24" / 60 cm long
• needles in your preferred style for small circumference knitting in the round
Size 8 US / 5 mm circular needle, at least 47" / 120 cm long (if you do not have a needle this long, you can use two or more shorter circulars)
Optional for belt: size 4 US / 3.5 mm needles Tapestry needle, stitch markers, stitch holders
Gauge:
20.5 sts and 30 rows = 4" / 10 cm in Stockinette stitch using size US 6 / 4 mm needles
Construction Notes: V-neck cardigan. Body is worked in one piece from the bottom up with waist shaping. Lower edge is shaped with cast on stitches and increases. Sleeves are worked separately and sewn in place. Turned hems on sleeves. Ruffled borders are worked from picked up stitches. Instructions are included for an optional self-belt. |
