That’s easy—it’s sitting here right on my desk, holding my pens: a ceramic mug my husband bought me in Jaisalmer (Rajasthan, India) for our first wedding anniversary, painted with a smiling couple: he, arched eyebrows and loopy mustache; she, pointy boobs in a green sari; and the words: “We feel happy if you come once again.” I think it cost Rob 30 rupees (less than a dollar). But its value is immeasurable—it makes me smile every day.
