This pullover is worked from the bottom up. The split hem is worked in two pieces back and forth and then joined to work in the round to the underarms. Sleeve sts are picked up and the cap is shaped with short rows, then joined to work in the round from the top down. You may work the stitch patterns from text or charts.

Needles & Notions:
Size 8 US / 5 mm circular needle, 29" / 70 cm long or longer.
Size 8 US / 5 mm needles in preferred style for small circumference knitting in the round.
Size 6 US / 4 mm needles in preferred style for small circumference knitting in the round.
Cable needle, spare needle, stitch markers, stitch holders, tapestry needle.

Gauge:
17 sts and 26 rows = 4" / 10 cm in Stockinette stitch, using larger needles.
One 16-st cable measures approx 2 ½" / 6.5 cm wide, using larger needles.
One 10-st cable measures approx 2" / 2.5 cm wide, using larger needles.
