Every Friday we feature one of the garments from the magazine in a post about styling. We suggest different ways to wear the garment in question using mock-ups from Polyvore. We encourage readers to tell us what they think about these outfits via our Facebook page or Twitter, and if folks want to make their own outfits, please tweet them at us with the hashtag #twiststyle. You can find all of the Style Friday posts here.
Last night, coming home from dinner and tarot readings with a dreamy friend (who is also an amazing artist), I was wearing a cardigan, a denim jacket, and a (made-by-me) scarf... and I was downright chilly. Fall, my dear friends, has arrived. It is the time for corduroy and leather and tights and warm socks and cardigans and blazers and boots and I am so excited. I need to knit the second sleeve of my Pont Neuf so I can wear it!
This morning I was feeling just a little chilled, and do you know what I wanted to put on? This exact thing.
Topside is simple, but not at all boring. Elegant, but still casual. The sleeve length is perfect, and the textures are so toasty looking. Have a look at it from another angle.
You could take this top in a business-y direction, you could wear it with jeans and sneakers, or go full-on girly, like in the shoot above. I couldn't decide, so I made lots of outfits.
And then I made some more.
How will you wear Topside?
