Every Friday we feature one of the garments from the magazine in a post about styling. We suggest different ways to wear the garment in question using mock-ups from Polyvore. We encourage readers to tell us what they think about these outfits via our Facebook page or Twitter, and if folks want to make their own outfits, please tweet them at us with the hashtag #twiststyle. You can find all of the Style Friday posts here.

Friday has arrived!! My mom gets off early on Fridays in the summertime, so we are meeting for lunch. Last night my dinner was extremely delicious tacos, eaten while sitting in the grass with a dear friend. What I'm saying is that the weekend is off to a pretty nice start (after a tough week). The sun is out, my garden is growing things, and it's summertime for real.

This top is perfect for this time of year. Have you taken a close look at Cedri

Cute as heck, am I right?? I'm really into the color, but any solid bright would be dreamy. The yarn is discounted right now, just so you know!

You can knit her a little longer if crop tops are not your style- but really, I am of the mindset that crop tops can (maybe should?) be everyone's style. I'm loving the scoop neck and cap sleeves, and the simple geometric lace. If you have never made a sweater before, this is an excellent place to start. The shaping is minimal, the lace is easy to read, and it's a quick knit! This is a confidence building project (yes, I am talking to you, momma b).

My recipe for a cute outfit featuring Cedri is this: a straw purse, scrappy flats, and a piece of jewelry that makes you smile.

How will you wear Cedri
