Every Friday we feature one of the garments from the magazine in a post about styling. We suggest different ways to wear the garment in question using mock-ups from Polyvore. We encourage readers to tell us what they think about these outfits via our Facebook page or Twitter, and if folks want to make their own outfits, please tweet them at us with the hashtag #twiststyle. You can find all of the Style Friday posts here.

I learned how to cable on the same night that I learned how to use DPNs to knit in the round. It was at Thursday Night Stitch'n'bitch, the motley crew of weirdos and nerds I knitted with for years in Montreal. From the moment I understood the concept and execution, I was hooked. Cables are amazing. In her article in our latest issue, Fiona Ellis says that cables can make you look like a knitting genius.  They add depth and complexity to fabric. They can be simple of intricate, repeating or not. High impact, low effort. This is how I live.
