Every Friday we feature one of the garments from the magazine in a post about styling. We suggest different ways to wear the garment in question using mock-ups from Polyvore. We encourage readers to tell us what they think about these outfits via our Facebook page or Twitter, and if folks want to make their own outfits, please tweet them at us with the hashtag #twiststyle. You can find all of the Style Friday posts here.
It's not quite the season yet, but I have to admit, I'm hibernating a little. This fall has contained a lot of intensity and tumult and grief, and it's making me want to snuggle puppies and watch The Hunger Games. The bright side is that I'm gonna get done a lot of knitting. One of my besties is commissioning a pair of mitts for a gift, so I'm looking a the wealth of stunning Twist patterns for just the right thing.
Maybe you want to knit yourself a snuggly long sweater with some stunning details? I'm thinking about Rocaille.
This cute droplet patterning is great. I also like the neckline, and the way that reverse stockinette shows the depth of this lovely yarn.
Because Rocaille has these refined details, I wanted to see what she would look like in outfits that are a little fancier. I want everyone to see you wearing this beauty.
How will you wear Rocaille?
