Every Friday we feature one of the garments from the magazine in a post about styling. We suggest different ways to wear the garment in question using mock-ups from Polyvore. We encourage readers to tell us what they think about these outfits via our Facebook page or Twitter, and if folks want to make their own outfits, please tweet them at us with the hashtag #twiststyle. You can find all of the Style Friday posts here.
The weather in Toronto has been pretty great this week. I was hanging out with my friend Jenn yesterday and we were describing the weather as "cold, but not the kind that hurts your face." We had a super exciting Thursday night outing to Shoppers Drug Mart to cover our hands with tester lipsticks. Friendship you guys. It's magic.
The level of cold has definitely been asking me to wear wool. My Riverdale is in regular rotation, and I darned all my handknit socks. I gotta say, I could handle a little wool-silk-cashmere right now, a little tweed, some twisty cablework.
The seed stitch makes the tweed in this yarn shine. I want one in pale pearly grey, but maybe also lime? I want to wear this stunner curled up with a book and a cup of tea, but I'm a boring person who doesn't go anywhere that fancy shoes are appropriate. Maybe you have a holiday party to attend. Mosey wants to come with you.
Someone get me that moon watch? My birthday is in a couple of weeks.
How will you wear Mosey?
