I spent the first half of this week at a friend's lake house. It snowed during our drive up, which mostly dashed my dreams of getting into the lake. The sun shone a bunch during our walks along the rocky beach, afternoons drinking tea indoors, and forest hikes.
It was perfect weather for Sanderling.
The allover lace gives it a little breeziness, but Sanderling is still a snuggly thing.
The light scalloping at the bottom makes it look polished, even as a garment that is mostly for coziness.
You can make Sanderling out of anything you like, but she was designed with this yarn in mind, which is made from recycled jeans. So that is kind of cool. I think it's perfect in this pearly grey, but the Lava and Forest colorways are the ones I would gravitate towards.
